"I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think."
The inspirational message for the self employed from this quote is:
In this example of lessons learned in life as quoted by Socrates, he is telling us to rather let the students teach themselves, experiment with ideas and think of solutions to challenges on their own. Instead of a teacher directing the discussion, by leading and controlling it, it is better to let the students figure out the answers for themselves. This method of learning is more creative as it helps a person develop ideas and theories for themselves so that they can ultimately come up with their own unique solutions to challenges or discover different methods of working. This is a much better way than most common ways of teaching. It can be beneficial to the self-employed as well, as the business person can learn to use and implement these same ideas and apply these same theories to their business environment.
